It was a great day for some backyard gymnastics.

We spent Mother's Day at Kettle Cove.

I stretched my birthday into a second day. Because, why not. Oysters and snacks and little beers.

I spent my birthday in familiar territory. Biscuits and coffee at Tandem. The record store and book store. Lunch at SoPo Seafood. Dinner at home.

It has begun. We've started touring colleges with Rosa. This is St. Anselm in New Hampshire.

The tallest crane in Maine building what will be the tallest building in Maine...at 18 stories. That should give you an idea of the relatively small scale of life here.

I post so many pictures of food, I might as well post some of the tools used to make it. Here are a couple new knives.
